Future On Chanco Opening Begins Tuesday








The University of Malawi Council and the Chancellor College Academic Staff Union (CCASU) says they have finally identified the main problem prolonging their dispute and expresses hope for the fruitful discussion on Tuesday next week and make progress to end the dispute soon.

Concerned parties disclosed during media briefing on Friday in Lilongwe that failure to meet and cordially discuss their matter has been one of the major obstacle in the process of resolving the ongoing industrial strike by academic staff which began on March 20, 2017.

The rising Malawi star, Adrian Kwepeta is set to launch his “Live or Die Story” musical album on Friday, June 30, this year at Grittah’s Camp in the capital city, Lilongwe.

The Sun Bird Search for a Star 2013 winner, Adrian confirmed in an interview on Thursday, that his second album is now out ready to share with the world.

Iron Sheet Manufacturer Super Sakuwa Opening Regional Factory In Blantyre

A local leading brand in iron sheets and roofing manufacturing, Super Sakuwa Steel Limited will soon open a new manufacturing plant in Blantyre in a bid to bring their products closer to customers in the southern part of the country.

Super Sakuwa’s Marketing and Sales Executive, Enoch Chithonje, disclosed in an interview barely few weeks after opening another manufacturing plant in the northern region.

LL City South-East Legislator Plans To Support KCH In Cleaning Services

Lilongwe City South-East legislator, Bentley Namasasu said he is set to begin an initiative that will see him and people from his constituency providing free cleaning services at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH).

The legislator, said the voluntary work to commence in the month of March this year as part of support to his constituency based referral hospital.

Court Orders Parties To Address Two More Issues In Murekezi Extradition Case

The extradition case hearing of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide convict, Mr. Vincent Murekezi has been adjourned to February, 3, 2017 where both State and Defense are expected to make submissions to the court on whether genocide is an extraditable offence or not and if Rwanda is a designated country under the Extradition Act.
